Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Who can contribute to the PAC?

Only salaried, exempt employees can contribute to the Pediatrix PAC. Nonemployees and non-exempt employees may not contribute or join. Contact Darren Patz, Senior Vice President and Chief Government Affairs Officer, if you have questions regarding eligibility for participation in the PAC. Individuals can contribute up to $5,000 per year to a traditional PAC.

What level of contribution does Pediatrix suggest for eligible employees?

Eligible employees may, on a voluntary basis, contribute up to $5,000 annually. Pediatrix strives to have 100% PAC participation from its eligible employees. You will not be favored or disadvantaged by Pediatrix (or any of its subsidiaries or affiliated practice groups) by reason of your contribution amount or your decision not to contribute. All contributions are strictly voluntary, and each employee has the right to refuse to contribute without any reprisal.

Is my contribution tax deductible?

Contributions to the Pediatrix PAC are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to the PAC will be used for political activities.
